I personally do not believe that pineapple belongs on pizza. The taste is… mediocre, but the texture is absolutely horrendous. The sweet, wet fruit does not mix well with the savory red sauce. “Hawaiian Pizza” is not a proper pizza. Furthermore, it isn’t even Hawaiian! Pineapple on pizza was invented in Canada.
