Does this lovable fruit belong on a slice of pizza? Or should they be enjoyed separately?

I personally do not believe that pineapple belongs on pizza. The taste is… mediocre, but the texture is absolutely horrendous. The sweet, wet fruit does not mix well with the savory red sauce. “Hawaiian Pizza” is not a proper pizza. Furthermore, it isn’t even Hawaiian! Pineapple on pizza was invented in Canada.

I personally do not think that the lovable fruit of pineapple should belong on a slice of pizza pie. The taste is ok, but the slimy texture leaves much to be desired.
